Daily Dose of Reading (DDR) is a nonprofit organization that recognizes introducing literacy routines in the earliest stages of a child's life is critical for effective learning and key to living successfully and productively. Our goal is to provide parents with critical life-changing skills enabling them to infuse active learning mechanisms into daily routines with their children and families, from birth. Our trademark program, Talk, Sing, Read, Play (TSRP) is the primary vehicle through which DDR champions the literacy experience for all children, from the moment of birth, when a child's brain is at its most receptive developmental stages.

For the past 11 years, Daily Dose of Reading has been at the forefront of literacy program creation, having an impact throughout Greater Cleveland. We have continued to adapt how we operate and affect our clients by creating programs and services that meet the dynamic needs of our communities. Daily Dose of Reading has established a variety of literacy models, each of which is designed to respond to the unique needs of each site. We provide interactive target curricula, literacy parenting skill coaching and modeling, free curriculum-based books, and literacy products that serve Northeast Ohio's diverse population. Daily Dose of Reading recognizes that the gift of literacy:

• strengthens, and is strengthened by relationships;
• serves as a foundation for academic and social success;
• is a catalyst for living a productive and joyful life.

Daily Dose of Reading continues to work toward these organizational objectives and priorities:

• To mentor parents and caregivers as advocate literacy role models to children, from birth;
• To provide at-risk and other children with daily literacy activities, thereby strengthening their cognitive skills, kindergarten readiness, and motivation to learn;
• To provide training, coaching, and other resources about literacy, its components, dynamics and tools to caregivers, pediatric and agency staff, as well as the public;
• To use DDR's signature literacy teaching technique Talk, Sing, Read, Play (TSRP) as a springboard to impart nurturing, insightful, and effective parenting skills to parents and caregivers throughout the community.

The administration and Board of Directors of Daily Dose of Reading firmly believe that the gift of literacy for every child is a critical component of the life and fabric of a healthy community.
